Terms & Conditions
We/Us/Our refers to “Improving Life Outcomes”. You refers to the customer or client.
Products (resources) are covered by the NZ consumer guarantees act. Payment of products is required at the time of placing an order, credit accounts are not available. Products sold are intended as tools to use when working towards achieving goals. No product will “cure” specific conditions or deficiencies.
Prices for products are listed on the website in New Zealand dollars. Prices are subject to change from time to time. Prices have no New Zealand GST component as we are not registered for GST.
Orders for downloadable products should be available to international customers. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any problems. We are currently not set up to take international orders on the website. Any and all customs fees imposed by countries outside of New Zealand are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any VAT, Goods & Services Tax, Import Duties, Tariffs, Fines or any other related fees are also the sole responsibility of the customer.
Delivery costs of ready-made items are calculated in your shopping cart when you order online or in your invoice or quote when you order by email for orders that are not downloadable products (the files for these should be available after your purchase). We will endeavour to deliver products in a timely manner once your order has been placed but consumable suppliers and postal/courier delays are beyond our control, we cannot guarantee same-day delivery. If there is a delay in shipping your order we will do our best to keep you informed. We use either NZ Post or a courier company for shipping withing NZ.
Products received that are not what you ordered will be replaced, however, the wrong product must be returned in new condition. Where the fault was due to Improving Life Outcomes, we will refund postage at NZ Post tracking option cost not at more expensive courier costs. Product refunds cannot be made for orders where you have simply changed your mind. For products arriving damaged due to transit, a claim must be made with the postal service used to ship the order to you.
Change of Order
If you need to change or cancel your order you need to let us know as soon as possible via email email@example.com. Once an order has been shipped you can only receive a refund if we have not sent the product you ordered. For custom orders and large orders, a penalty may result and you will be charged for work carried out so far.
Quotes for custom made service
You will be quoted a cost for the complete job or given an hourly rate plus the cost of consumables. It will be clearly stated which method of charging you will be quoted for. You will be deemed to have accepted the quote when you inform us via email or by signing the quote. You will be informed of any additional costs incurred before additional consumables are bought or extra work is carried out. Quotes are valid for 1 month from the date of quote, if the quote was not accepted within this time frame a new quote can be requested which may vary in price due to changes in costs within the quote.
Custom Made Visuals
You will be sent a quote when you place an order for custom made visuals. Work will begin on your order once the quote is accepted. Payment will be required in full or part at the start of your order, we will let you know. If you supply your own photos to be turned into visuals then you own the copyright to those visuals and they will not be made publicly available. Unless requested by you for duplicate visuals at a later date, all photos will be deleted once your order is complete. If you simply request a visual that is not currently in stock and you want Improving Life Outcomes to supply the images/photos, then we will own the copyright.
Custom Made Service
You will be sent a quote when you place a custom made order. Work will begin on your order once the quote is accepted and payment is made. Payment will be required in full or part at the start of your order, we will let you know how much is required. If you require an existing product to be simply altered, Improving Life Outcomes will own the copyright. If you require us to make your own design for your use then you will own the copyright.
No product, image, activity class or training material shall be copied in whole or in part other than those that are freely available public domain images. All images used in our products and services are produced by “Improving Life Outcomes”, its predecessor “DottyWobble”, family and friends or are free for commercial use stock images that have the creator named. We may from time to time purchase images from stock libraries if we do not have our own images available.
Bookings for classes, training or advice sessions can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If a place is available you will be notified and given payment details. If the class or session is full you will be notified and asked if you would like to go on a waiting list. Your place in a class or session will be confirmed once your payment has been received. Payments must be made, in full, prior to 5 days before the first class of the term or when the session is scheduled.
Classes will be held during term time unless stated. You can come along to one class to have a look free of charge, after that you must make a booking for a class or register for the waiting list. Payments must be made, in full, prior to 5 days before the first class of the term. Behaviour of individuals attending activity classes is the responsibility of parents/caregivers. Excessive behaviours disrupting the class or hurting other class members may result in the individual leaving the class either temporarily or permanently, this may be at short notice. Although we aim to ensure a safe environment the nature of some classes means accidents may occur for a number of reasons. By attending the class you agree there is a risk involved and that we cannot prevent all injuries.
Payments must be made, in full, prior to 5 days to when the session is scheduled. Cancellations must be made 4 days before the training session/workshop/consultation to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within the 4 days before the training session/workshop will be charged a late cancellation fee of 25% of the cost of the training session/workshop/consultation.
Any images sent to be used in the custom made service will never be shared with anyone without your permission other than those individuals involved in making your custom order. Images will be kept on a password-protected computer for the duration of the job and will then be deleted when the job is finished. We will never share your details with any third parties.
We will not pass your data on to 3rd parties. Payments made through this website will be made through a secure payment gateway. By using this website you agree to not misuse it. We are not responsible for the content of any website that we might provide hyperlinks to.
We will monitor any comments made on our website. We have the right to delete any or refuse to post any comments if we deem them to be inappropriate in any way.
You can subscribe to our website any time you like. If you have made a purchase or used any of our services you will be automatically subscribed to our mailing list. You may unsubscribe at any time.
“Improving Life Outcomes” does not provide therapies or medical interventions. We promote the setting of goals and working towards achieving those goals. We cannot guarantee you will achieve the goals set as that depends on a number of factors including your own input.
Right to Amend
We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time. If you are directly affected by a change you will be notified. By continuing to use this website and our services after any amendment, you are deemed to have agreed to the amended terms and conditions.
