The Generic Visuals Set includes one of each of the following.
Wait Sign – it is often more effective to have a visual form of asking someone to wait
Arrow – is useful when sequencing visuals e.g. put an arrow between two visuals to indicate “First/Then”
Question Mark – indicates an unknown – useful for daily schedules or class timetables to indicate something unknown will happen, something you don’t have a visual or cue card for
Orange Card – indicates change, this is useful when using the traffic light system where green = start something, orange = a change is about to happen and red = stop or finish
Not Available Acetate (small) – indicates something is unavailable
No [X] Acetate (small) – indicates something is not allowed
Some people need a differentiation between Not Available and No others can generalize with just one e.g. when they see the not available sign they know they are not allowed to do something or have something.
